Gametrailers video emblem

I think we should have the gametrailers video emblem for the newscast team because a bunch of the time youtube videos are removed because of copyright issues, if we use gametrailers it will not happen.

They dont support HD on other sites. But perhaps Apoc could fix that.

However, i dont think that this forum is in need of so much WoW videos. If the news staff want to use WoW videos then they should probably try WoW's official website.
Better yet contact blizzard and ask them if it's okay if we use their copyrighted material in for example JD's vodcasts.

It'd be considered fair use; which means there isn't shit they can do about it.

Also; GT would need to be contacted, etc, etc. It's easier to just use YT and be done with it. If people decide videos will be a 'big thing' we can look into it more. But since we hardly use videos on this site, there's no need to do anything.

Newsteam has posted an increasing amount of videos lately.

I for one will not upload my stuff using that site... youtube works just fine- and videos of this sort dont get removed because its not illegal to use them in the way we do in our news casts.

also.. to suggest newsteam get copyright permission before posting videos, or saying that we stop posting videos is IMO, not helping the forum nor does it belong in the suggestion box.

If you dont wanna watch them then you dont have to... as far as the idea for an upload site--- its not a bad site, but I have no issues with youtube

Videos can have huge potential and having video section
for example Exploring showoff or other randomness could work out

Some posts need to have videos as tutorials for example so having a video sub section for each section that can have use of videos, might not be the best.
