Model Editing guides are too hard to get!

I know you don't like suggestions related to Model
Editing, because all we do is whine but... let me whine a bit

This is a real problem.
Many model editing guides and programs aren't accepted in their section just
because there is a older (much older) thread with "almost" same things, in
many cases "older" and "almost" are just not enough. Threads are also not
accepted if they are too rarely used, too small or "common sense".

We should be able to post our personal tips somewhere, but there is no such a place.

I really needed a noggit texturing guide but there was already one very limited
guide on doing that (very), so Squabert's guide didn't go through. Then also the "small" things that aren't accepted seem to be very important in many
cases. Also older threads appear to have many mistakes and problems which
cannot be corrected (when the thread is too old for replying for example).

Well, ive been thinking on makeing a video tut on noggit textureing. and i would like to see such section for small tips on nogg'in...

no such section will be made... use the guides section for that, we are not making a section for noggit guides only

I tried to submit a guide which isn't anywhere on the site but a moderator turned it down just because it had to do with WDB.

The rules for posting a guide should be re-evaluated as well.

Mmhmm... I posted a guide on adding water (simply due to the fact that there currently isn't one and i had a shi* load of requests), which was turned down for some undivined reason.

I think I'll have to have a stern talking to with Jchunx but yes the model editing section needs to be redone imo.
