New model edit rule: NO race swap services.

Hi, I'd like to suggest a new rule to the model edit section:

    NO race swap services.

    For the following reasons:

    1. It's just rep farming
    2. It can be done using Glitchy's model editing suite, using 2 clicks of your mouse..
    3. The model edit section is FULL of race swap services.

Notice the first 5 threads.. 4/5 are swaps -_-

    POSSIBLE solutions:
    1. Make a new rule: Requesting is allowed, services aren't!
    2. Create a new section for swap services.
    3. Create a new section for more "advanced" model edits, where stupid and simple model edits won't get bumped all the time.

    DISCUSS!

I agree, when I was perusing the ME section for some nice re-skins, I got flooded with "LOL RACE 2 RACE SERVICE"

    Soo true.

A new rule should prevent this.
OR make a new section? A "service" section or something?

I support this suggestion. It really gets annoying to stick your head into the ME section and see nothing but MODEL SWAP SERVICE or ALL RACE TO RACE (4 or so on one page). All shameless rep farms, anyway. If you can't swap a model, you shouldn't stick your head in the ME section.

I noticed the same thing, I decided I wanted to learn basic model edits and stuff and I was spammed with these ridiculous services -,-

It won't solve the problem.. that way you'll have an even BIGGER spam.
That 1 thread will always be bumped.

Wouldn't it be stickied since it's a 1 thread thing like the hidden images thread in the exploration forum?

Creating a new SubForum for services would be filled with repost upon repost and the amount of new ME's that would be included would be minimal.

Just allowing more advanced model edits would be ideal in the regular ME forums. No need to create a new subforum for that. Semi-Heavy moderation will be required to weed out non-Adv edits after implementing this rule.

Create a sticky were ALL regular edits which are generally requested via service are included. In the sticky, post a section for every type of regular service ME and include links to DL. Credits for each ME or ME section would be given to the user whose ME was chosen.

This can include, but not be limited to:
[Copy the highest quality ME Links and credit the editor]
    -Race to Race
    -Mount to Mount
    -Pet to Pet
    -Weapon to Weapon
    -Anything else deemed appropriate

After the thread is created, it would remain open for editors to post their MEs that ARE NOT already listed and are deemed appropriate for the sticky.

Basically, you are making a new: http://www.mmowned.com/forums/wow-gu...tips-here.html
Except that this time, all the 'tips [read as Model Edits]' would be copied into the original post and any non-essential posts in the sticky would be deleted after the information is copied and credited.

    I vouch for this.

I'm not patient enough or that intellectual enough to learn model editing, even if it has step to step retard proof instructions.
