[Shoutbawx] Change rules/and dont be so strict.

Hello.
I have been using the Shoutbawx, but the current problem is that you can almost not talk about anything at all without receiveing angry looks by moderators and/or bans. It annoys me very much when you get a finger for posting multiple times in a row, or in my case, I got a ban for it. I did not intend to spam, but seriosely, isnt a warning enough for that kind of "rule breaking" personally I think a ban is way over the line.

Same goes for trading. Personally I think trading in the bawx is a good thing if you want instant replies. Waiting in the trade forums usually take a very long time, and being able to trade in the bawx would speed things up, I can understand that begging isnt allowed, but trading wouldnt cause too much spam I think. And the thing that annoys me most are moderators being so rude and so strict and think by having a coloured name their better than other people. Its just the way I feel about it, and I cant change that.

Have You Even Read The Rules?
And trading is easy through MSN or Aim w/e.
Also i think its a bit much with a Ban at start.
1 Warning before ban makes the situation easier to explain.
Also theres alot of things to discuss in the shoutbawx.
You just need to think of a thing.
For instnace:
You can ask a single question and get instant answer.
You can discuss funny conversations with other people.
You can just kid around.
Its not that hard you know

This is maybe just my opinion, but i think the rules are really good.

I agree with mods thinking they have big dicks... I can give a few examples of mods pricking around. But there is the other side, They keep the site clean and all that good shit. So really I really couldn't give half a shit about it, and you shouldn't either.

Ignorance of the rules does not give you a reason to break them. They are there for a reason, and we enforce them. Maybe if you would obey the rules, this thread wouldn't even be necessary.

We don't allow trading in the SB due to scamming. (SB logs go back only so far. Threads stay basically forever. Use them.)

If you're getting angry 'looks' from staff members, you're obviously doing something wrong. 98% of the time, the mods in the SB are having fun, just like you. When you break a rule, we enforce the actions required. It's your own fault for breaking the rule, not ours.

I ban people when they 5+ shout. It's a rule, and you broke it. Tough shit, live with it.

If you don't like the way the staff uphold the site rules (that includes the SB rules), then leave.

95% of the time, bans are never perm. Just wait it out. They usually last a few days at most. And thats only from the bawx, you have the rest of the forum at your disposal.

This is not a trading site, if you do want to trade do it in the right sections. If you have a problem with the bawx then don't use it or we can just remove if from you if you really wanted . Rukes are there to stop all the stupid children from causing mayhem (I lol'ed)

it is a suggestions forum, but he just explained to you how it works, basicly saying that it will not be changed. which it wont. let me go over the rules for you, hopefully you will understand and respect it a bit better then, but as Apoc said, the staff is only in the bawx to have a good time, if you break a rule then its ur own fault.


Hating/Flaming <- most if this is common sense

1. DO NOT make fun of others for stupid posts. <- why would u want to increase ur epeen this way?

Spamming

1. DO NOT shout more than 4 times in a row. <- it is just annoying dont do it - once again some members 5 shouted alot so we made this rule.
2. DO NOT spam to increase your shout bawx poster rank. If you have something to say, do not split it into multiple messages, put it into a single well-thought out sentence. <- i had to remove top posters stats since some tards shouted just to shout we disabled it because of members
3. DO NOT use NOU/NO U/no u/nou or any of the variants! <- 4chan is that way => Members did it all the time and it was annoying
4. DO NOT spam /me. <- its annoying and all you will accomplish is getting ur access to it removed.

Moderation

1. DO NOT Question actions taken by moderators (If you have any question/issues, PM a Mod / Super Mod / Admin - Don't bring it up in front of everyone). <- dont bother argueing in bawx, we discuss it for 20 minutes and then we realize that I am right.
2. DO NOT Question one's integrity as a moderator. People who become moderator have been picked carefully and are able to do their jobs properly. If you disagree contact an admin. <- If you have an issue with a staff member then take it up with KuRIoS or someone else, however we will always talk about it staff among staff so it is not kept secret or anything. however we will talk it over.
3. If your name is not Cyan, Green, or Red, YOU ARE NOT A MODERATOR. <- O'rly?

that should explain it to you, as you can see most, if not all of our rules are there because of retardedness by our members that has caused us to make the rule to make the bawx an enjoyable time, we will review the rules at each staffmeeting tho as we have always.
