MMOwned powerleveling Contest

Yeah, been waiting pretty long for this one, ashame it didnt come.


So here we go, i'm suggesting it now.

MMOwned should put up a powerlvling contest !

This could attract alot of people, and for the prizes, i'm not sure how to solve that one yet, but i'll keep thinking about it.

There will be one contest for EU and one for US.

I've got some ideas to prevent hacking/cheating/boosting etc.

RAF will be allowed.

In my opinion RaF shouldn't be allowed, and there should be a time limit (like 6 hours/day) else the one with the most free time will win.

That's impossible to do (about the time)
RaF should be allowed imo, since it's a feature of the game. (so is boosting, but that would be lame, think if you had no friends)

This is why im arranging this when some big holidays are coming up (like summer vacation (?)

Yea... allowing RaF would be retarded. But you shouldn't limit the leveler's playtime. Some people have more time than others, sure. But that's tough luck if you're the one with less time. It's a competition.

Only way I could see this getting unfair is if people teamed up and took rotations like a chinese leveling company does. Say WK takes 6 hours, then I take 6, then 7itanium takes 6, and Kurios takes 6... well that's a pretty OP team. But I guess there's not much you could do to prevent that.

Not a very good idea for a contest, IMO. People have different time schedules, people can bot, hack, some people can hire Chinese levelers, etc.

Too many ways to get around it. Plus, if RAF was allowed, it would be guaranteed that if you weren't using RAF, you wouldn't win.

And for the hacking, botting, levelers etc, you have to take a screenshot every level you go up (exept like from 1-14, since you ding so much, but take ss's often !)

For the botting, it's slower than normal leveling, and it stretches out your played time, which really sucks. but again, screenshots.


This is why this needs careful planning, because we need supervisors that checks at players ingame now and then.

Is it really worth the effort to hold a contest where everybody needs to take screenshots and upload them all the time just to prove they didn't cheat, plus, not everybody is willing to spend money to win a contest... Not worth the work it would create to hold a contest like this, which is why I don't think it's a good idea.

Winners needs to upload some screenshots, yes, to prove that they didnt cheat.


And for the spending money thing, well, it's up to yourself really, but im just doing this for teh funz.

imo this being mmowned, hack should just be alloved. since its more than likely people will be using them. and well boosting to most likely.
only way i can see this done atleast somewhat legit is to have it from like 1-20 in one sitting. So there can be people observing and making sure no boosting etc is happening.

No RaF Blank accounts you have a one month time period to get 1-80 then screenshot your /played, the lowest one wins

How do you take screenshots proving you didn't cheat lol?

Just quit the game, turn off the cheats, and you win.

Anyways... MMOwned would most likely not be the ones to supply the prizes, so who would?
