Spread The Rep

As many as us know that leaching is huge here. You can get +rep'd 30 times and get 1000 or more downloads. I have a solution, when you click on the link to download you will +rep the creator. When you +rep your user name and IP will be recored so the next time you click on the link you will not +rep the creator.
I can create this, thats why I'm asking first to see if it is a good idea.

you could have a pop-up message when you click the link saying something like:

If this download is useful to you, please remember to rep the OP.

rep system is fine how it is, no need to make getting rep easier.

Apoc or Glitchy would have like 10k rep each lol. And someone could just upload a useless program, all the people who download it are forced to rep the OP.
First of all the program might not even work, it might not be their work and they would make a lot of rep for nothing.
