The thing is that we have so many people that wish for different things, by all means all suggestions are taken into account when Ket and I are planning the staff meetings. The suggestions that we believe would have a positive impact on MMOwned we will discuss.

Most people suggest a lot of stuff, with good thoughts behind it, but when it comes to practice it has not really been thought through or it is not really as useful as they thought.

Most of the suggestions that we have are suggested from pure laziness by members, like a new subforum for various things, when it can be solved by just tagging your threads like you are supposed to be doing - It may be easier for some, but for the majority of our users it would mean a more messy MMOwned and even more frustration when trying to find the correct section to post in.

It all comes down to this.

• I look over the suggestions made, discuss it with Ket and we decide if we find it good enough to bring up on a staff meeting.
• If a suggestion is under our loops then we consider how much it would be used and how it could affect the stability of MMOwned.
• We look at how much effort has been put into the suggestions, meaning finding a code for it and such. (if you suggest something then you need to do some work too).
• MMOwned is our site, we are running it the way that we feel is the best, so far I think we have done a pretty damn good job. If you look at the suggestions that many people have wanted with the pathetic "/signed" threads then you would notice that in 90% of the cases its a totally unnecessary addition to our forums, an addition that is not needed at all.
• If you feel like we are dictators, then by all means run you own site, let the members decide what they want and then you will notice how fast it will become messy and a hurdle to upkeep your site. If your members are used to being in control of everything that happens then they are gonna make a big cry when you take it away.
• Last thing to remember here is KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid).... Meaning it is easier for us and MMOwned if we are the ones taking the decissions and not 300.000 members that has to agree.
• I think that sums it up - I am sorry for any spelling mistakes and such, but I am writing under the influence of a lot of alcohol.
