For those who have been putting time in to the download and patching/solving and work on the WoTLK Alpha leak, maybe a private forum, as well as limit to who is in there working on it. This will help prevent the leechers from spreading this crap and getting us shot down faster than we can work on it.

but yeh, i agree as much as i dont want to. if many people come to the site coz of WoTLK stuff, and they see bullshit info about it, then they will probably write off the site and the community here will lose a potential contributor

or maybe just make a WOTLK section for model edits, duscussion, hacks, anything.

I was talking more of a forum that people get invited to. There are a number of people that are in contact with each other working on this outside of the BBS, and it would be easier to communicate here than everyone msging MSN and AIM and Yahoo and Skype cause no one uses one simple system.

Lets say we get the EMU server up soon, also the new tools for looking into the MPQ section etc.

Do you want 1000 leechers spamming the site with, OMG look look, and join my EMU server and join here this EMU server, and etc. Or people just randomly spamming a thread trying to be used.

Or could you understand that people working on a project don't need random idiots.

I didn't say, O look ill be a smart ass and a new forum for the expansion. I suggested a private forum for the development of the tools temporarily so we can work on an invite only area where were not bothered by leechers and retards.

But I can understand, considering youve contributed nothing to the WoTLK so far.

Yeah, this will be awesome, make a section like COMSA which is only visible if you type in a special link, and have a password on it, then it will be for development and such.

Well guys, why create a whole section for one expansion...Did we do that when BC First came out...I dont think so...Lets just wait until it comes out regular, then our admins will add it in with the rest, I dont mean to sound liek a "negative nancy", but if we get a whle section devoted to Lich King Expansion, It'll be leeched (doesnt matter what rank, People get greedy) and will take all of the communites hard work for granted

What skuddle means is make a private section for cracking the beta, when WotLK gets released, then admins can just delete the section.

just talk over aim/msn or in specific threads in contrib/shared/elite section. no need for a private section.
