Login & Privacy Settings Bug

In Setting > General Settings under Login & Privacy the Hide Reputation option doesn't actually hide your reputation. I chose that option, logged out and looked at a thread of mine and my reputation was still visible.

It does hide the reputation panel from the profile but the options description is "Your current reputation level is displayed to other users whenever you post a message. If you would like to hide your reputation, disable this option," implying that disabling the option will remove the reputation box from my user info on the left in my posts, which it does not.

well it does hide reputation, but only latest reputation received (on your profile) it used to hide how much you had.

Ah okay. I thought it was supposed to hide how much you have altogether. It seems like that's what the description is stating. So the description is outdated and the option is working as intended?
