    [Help] CPU emitting high frequency when idle.

    Only just started this morning, my CPU (I'm assuming it is, since when the processor is under high load the noise stops) is emitting a high frequency squeal, any suggestions as to what it is or what's causing it?

    It's doesn't appear to be the fan either.
