Poke mmo

So I was introduced to this Pokemon MMO game over the weekend and being a huge Pokemon kid back in my childhood this game really hit the nostalgic spot for me. Basically they turned Fire red and I think some form of Gold Pokemon into an online MMO where you can duel, spectate, trade, donate for vanity items, customize your character, have clans, and much more. Its tons of fun and seeing other people in the world with you is amazingly cool. I think it is only in alpha right now but its still a very clean gaming experience.

How do I get it?
There are a couple steps to obtaining the game at the moment. I heard at first they gave you the ROM's needed to play but they got in trouble for that because it was practically like giving the game to people for free. So they said if you want to play you need to obtain the ROM's yourself.
You can do this by....
1: Purchasing the game and installing it into your ROM drive on your PC or...
2: Download them from the links I am giving you like 99.9% of all the people seem to have done =P

^Make sure you remember where you put these two folders they contain a file in each of them that you need for the next step

After you download those go to the games main website PokeMMO - No Bullshit, Just Games
Register an account and download their client via the download button.
Now find the two ROM's you downloaded before open those folders and there should be like a ReadME and a ROM file. Take the ROM file out of each of them and put them into the ROM folder in the Pokemmo.eu Downloaded Client.

It's as simple as that. Click the black pokeball icon in your pokemmo folder and you are good to go. Also don't drag that icon to your desktop just run it from folder because it bugs out if its not in there and it will not play.

Hope this post helps people bring back memories again like it did for me and my friends playing it, its a great game and experience even at 22 years old =P
