Garry's Mod [Help].

Hello everyone.

Last day I decided to buy Garry's Mod + Team Fortress 2 for 29.99£ at Steam because I have no use for my PayPal money (cant withdraw them).

So, TF2 was boring but I find it pretty fun to play Garry's Mod, but I have some questions :
1. How to play at servers? I mean, everytime it says the map either is missing or its just plain white and can be downloading for like hours before I just click cancel.
2. How to build things quick, I mean, instead of hitting Q then choose what you want, if I for example want to build 10 x fences I remember from some time ago I played this game, you could do it without having to click up the menu everytime.
3. How to like.. well, make TF2 player models atleast like sit or such? So far when I spawn them they just lay on the ground and I can only lift them up or rotate them, nothing else (I saw in a Youtube video someone even had made a TF2 char shoot fire you know)

4. Maybe some faq with answers about every .. function etc? dunno..

and do you play Garry's Mod? What you think about it?
