Modify registry settings for start-up delay. This will again make your windows startup faster by minimizing the delay time for the start-up delay of your windows XP. To begin, type again on the Run command, "regedit." When you are on the registry, navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\CONTROL\CONTENTINDEX." Next, look for the name "StartupDelay" and change its base to "Decimal" and its default value data to 40000. Close all opened applications and restart your computer.
