tear bringing letter

I think some of you might have heard of the website ,snopes; It has rumours that have been proved/disproved. I was looking there and noticed this one, i admit, i did shed a tear.

It's about a girl who's dog died and she sent a letter to god asking him to make sure to take care of the dog.

when i was younger i used to go to the post office every year with my dad and we'd answer a dear santa letter for underprivileged children. one year we shipped out a whole bunch of toys to a girl whose mother and father were sick and couldn't afford to buy her anything for Christmas.. it made me feel really good afterwards.
