This thread is for people who need help or just need to discuss mental issues, please do not come into this thread to make fun of others or make jokes. Fake posts are not welcome and derogatory language to any type of people with any issues will not be tolerated. I know this is the back room but please have some decency.
Since Bippy started a fitness thread for the physical body I thought it would be a good idea to have one for people who are struggling mentally as well. I have a lot of experience with mental disorders, both personally and within my family and friends, and I have found it really helps to talk to it about someone. So if you already know you have some mental illness and would just like to talk about it or you are just having problems but haven't been diagnosed with anything feel free to post here for help. People in this thread and myself will be entirely non-judgemental and offer advice to the best of our ability but if you are seriously in turmoil please tell your family and seek help from a psychiatrist.
My personal situation is posted as the first reply because I cannot ask others to be open if I myself am not.
The most important thing is that this thread is a safe and supportive place to discuss if you need mental help. Remember that if you are really struggling see a psychiatrist I cannot stress this enough, while the people in this thread are willing to support and help you we are not professionals!
So please post if you are having any issues, you don't have to include what you are dealing with just the symptoms if you want, be as open or private as you like. No one will judge you. If you need coping methods for different things others in this thread and myself can likely recommend some.
