Reveal name of one who reads threads command?

Hi everyone. I am member of other community about rpg games, but we got a problem all sites have sometime. We got one who steals our threads, then post it on other forums..

However, I know when matt tried to catch some bot from other website that was just auto sopy and pasteing threads from Mmown, he used some command or script in the thread, so you saw your own name in thread. I would like to try it, if it helps us, maybe the person who copy thredas, wont notice his name in the thread, and just copy paste it, then we will know who it is.

What I am looking for, is that command so all who reads see their name.. What to write, what to do? Any help would be great. We are using vBulletin Version 3.0.3 board.

Well the copyright tag that goes onto all scams is used to help defeat this. If you would like you could probably just put like MMOwned randomly in one of your posts. If a bot tried to copy it it wouldn't notice the MMOwned.

Idd good idea, however what I am after is how to detect that program, and find his username and IP.. since their website do not cares if it is copied from others forums.

we used a command called [you] in all threads that we posted (matt an i posted) and we caught the member copying it because the you command would show the browsing members' name
