Need some advice, personal situation! :)

Alright guys!

Well I'm planning to move to Aussie in November (Job lined up, just need the money to get their, and everything), but with my rent, and the lack of hours i'm getting at work - I was thinking of selling all my stuff and living in a car? I know it's illegal and so on, but i have a place to park it. Anyway, What do you guys think about this? Also if i get caught in a car (I have no driver's license) which for some reason doesn't have MoT, what could happen? Will i just get a slap on the wrist and they'll take the car? The police up here is a joke so i'm not too worried as i live on an island. Any advice/criticism would be appreciated!

P.S. I'd like too add - I will not be able to save up and go away if i keep this place rented, i'm thinking of my future here.

Quite the situation here. I would try to find a cheaper place to stay, or stay with a friend if possible, also, maybe find another job on top of your current job if you can't squeeze more hours out of your current employer. I'm not sure what would happen in terms of being caught sleeping in your car, my uncle did for a while now he's living a rather lavish life for an ex marine in southern California. If you sell everything there are still a few things you need to consider if you move out.

1.) Cleaning clothes, a laundromat is a cheap alternative, however it still costs some money
2.) Buying things such as food. You won't have a fridge to store anything, and fast food still costs a pretty penny over time.
3.) you will get bored after a while, no matter what your goal is, meaning you will want to go out and spend money
4.) Gas money. No explanation needed.
5.) If they do take your car and/or fine you if you get caught. That will set you back even further, especially if the car is taken. They may sort of loom over you until you get a place to stay.

So all in all it is quite a risk. Personally I would try to find another job, and if that isn't possible, try to stay with a friend for a cheaper rent Worse comes to worse, try to live in the car, but I have a sour feeling about that

Aye, well i was thinking of buying 'Audi 1.9Tdi F reg' - It says Spares and Repairs but it still runs, for £200. I was thinking of getting this, tbh aslong as it runs i can use adapters and stuff for my phone and so on, it's more than fine i would assume.

All the practical things will indeed get hard if i may say. Even things that you can't think of right now will pop up. Try to find a cheaper way to live or a better paid job is my advice
