What to expect from riding a bike?

Hey all, I'm gettin my bike license soon. I live around Tucson, AZ and currently drive an auto shift car. I ride a dirt bike a lot and wanted to get my first bike (Ninja 300ABS 2014). Was wondering what I should expect from riding around on sportsbike vs a dirtbike? I don't ride my dirtbike on the freeway, and wanted to ask if that's something that is very difficult to do? I don't know... let me know what any of you think!

Its not difficult to drive and its really enjoyable to cruise at higher speeds on long roads.
But traffic is kinda rough from time 2 time, try to stay away from downtown LA if you don't know the bike And be careful with other people because they will run you down lol.

do you have a n300? I hear it's pretty popular. I think the top speed of about 100 may be too light for me, but I don't want to start out on something with way too many CCs (Don't wana flip).

Nah I don't. I've just driven KTM SM and Yamah YZ 250.
    But I don't have a license. so.
