I think its due to the fact they added a lot of non MMO sections to the website and they didn't want to limit their audience. Just a theory mind you.

It was mmowned, now it is ownedcore, because it is more games than just mmos now. However, I preferred mmowned.

It used to be MMOwned. It switched to Ownedcore as it now supports more genres than just MMOs.

Never had the site bookmarked... I have always just typed mmowned in google, to this day, even though the name has changed.

Been here for years, never even posted in this sub forum.

I also preferred the old name. Ownedcore has been a pain in the butt to get use to. I understand though that it was a necessary change, but I think we could of chose a catchier name, should have had a contest on thinking of a new name lol.
