    New OS - Service Pack.

    Hi.

Last day I had to install a new OS to my computer, don't ask why.
I found a Windows XP Professional (downloaded) cd at my home, so I decided to try it. I installed it without problems, but it's outdated. I can't install MSN, start WoW or things like that, because I don't have any SP(Service Pack). I tried to DL SP3, but it said "You need atleast SP1 or more to install this SP."

So, I went to the Microsoft site, but when I try to download a SP, it doesn't work, since I don't have a legit Windows key.

I just wanted to ask if anyone of you know how to change the main language on the computer, like you did when you installed the computer, to English? Right now it's Swedish, and all the SP's I can find on the internet is ENGLISH, this means I cant install it on my computer, because it's on Swedish. Belive me, I've tried.

Do I have to make a new install, only this time pick Swedish? I tried Google, but I haven't found any responses that helped me. It was like, go to the Control Panel, change Native Language, but still doesn't work.

    Regards,
    Zeroi.

    New OS - Service Pack.

You should reinstall your OS with an English version. There are plenty of SP3 XP downloads out there, let me know if you need any help finding one.

Yep you can. Download an Image for Windows (Legit of course), mount it to daemon tools and run it as desktop installation. But you cannot format your Harddrive by doing this..
