If you know anyone with a business you could ask them to get it under a business contract and pay them, I only paid £120 for a Iphone 3gs 32gb and unlimited calls/texts. Jailbreaking didn't reduce my battery life and 3g has a pretty good network coverage.

If you are willing to spend it then get it, I read something about there latest OS updated is going to add multi-tasking to it.

it might not be available to all phones.... but it will take batterytime down by 30% i think.. a battery time that is already poor...

I wouldnt do the change 2d.

The battery time is only poor if you spent hours on end playing 3d games, what can you expect? I can go a week with just playing a few hours of music a day and phone calls.

I use plenty of other apps and features too, i'm just saying I've personally never experienced any battery performance loss on my IPhone.
