Guys' Ramblings - Issue 1 : Two Worlds ( Xbox 360 )

Greetings, It is today that I bring you the first edition of Guys' Ramblings, The no-nonsense, No Bullshit blog! Tonight on Ramblings I will be discussing the not-so-popular Masivly Multiplayer Offline Role Playing Game Two Worlds ( Based off the xbox 360 version ). Let me start off by saying there is going to be two sections to this Review. The first is what I'm going to call my " No Holds Bard " review, After which I will do my " Constructive Review ".

Two Worlds - No Holds Bard

Well, It was about time I popped this sucker in. I tried it once, And to be honest I quit after about 2 minutes because I didn't have the urge to get past the first cave ( Combined with the fact I couldn't find my way out ). So you get your main screen and you have to make a new character. This can either be Offline RPS, Online RPG or online PvP. I can see where they were going with this, But to be honest online is dead. Also, Online PvP is full of game veterans so good luck. Online RPG is just full of bugs, Duped items and corruption. For example I have a character with 9999999999999 stats due to constant duplication of the super potion know as the " Unicorn potion ". This review however is going to be based on the Offline Rpg ( Or story ) mode. So, You get a character selection screen, Which I actually like to be honest. You can have 5 different characters. This is due to the class system which sucks ASS! Really, I'm not joking, It's so stupid, But more on that later. So, You get your character customisation screen, Which again is ok...But to be honest you can barely see the differences apart from the body structure. So, After doing this shit you get thrown into a cinematic bit of film that sux. It involves some bitch getting killed or somthing...I don't know.

To be honest, I really was not paying atention so please don't tell me how I have the story wrong or somthing. So after this you end up in a cave with 2 goblins ( How imaginative ). So, This is where you start to touch on the controls that suck so bad id rather hit my balls with a mallet than use them ever again...For a start off you control when you swing your sword ect...Which makes NO SENSE! It would be so much better just to have auto combat like WoW...So, You kill these goblins and soon after run into a obsticle...Yea, Thats right. A obsticle less than 1 minute into the game. Now, Your in this cave and theres a gate that you can't open, So you instinctivly smash crates and stuff trying to find a key, But no, Thats not it! You have to walk out of the ****ing gate that your character walked in through...I mean, Why? It makes no dam sense...

The next thing I need to touch on is the reason this review is not really going to go much further, The lag. Now, I'm aware this is a MMO but just wtf? It's offline and the lag is astronomical...The only thing I can compare it to is having 1k+ MS on WoW with a 20 year old graphics card trying to play it on 1028 x 800. Seriously, Lets look at a good ****ing game for a second...Fallout 3 is huge, But it doesn't lag. I just don't get it...This really brings my piss to a boil.

Next and last is the spells system...I'm really not going to go into this much. Basically you get these shitty card things which contain spells ( Wtf? ) and you combine them with other cards to make different spells...Yea. That makes sense huh? Imagine in WoW if you had a mage and you had to put together spells to make new ones...Lets put together Pollymorph and Fire Blast to get PollyPheonix...Get my point? And targeting spells is just as bad as anything else on this game.

So, After all that shit I recommend that you don't buy this game unless you want to face something worse than Planeshift, Here's your answer! Please let this be the time to say I really don't care what you think of my " No holds Bard " review...I will acept critisism on my " Constructive Review " but on here...No thanks!
