    [WIP] Reign TD (Tower Defense)

    After getting a buttload of ideas and suggestions in the other thread (http://www.mmowned.com/forums/showthread.php?t=266517) I decided to create this one!

    Basically; this will just be an 'update as I go' type of thread, where I'll periodically give updates and whatnot as I go on about building this game

    First things first; my graphics skills suck. Period. They're awful and should never be considered anything near good. Thankfully, I've ripped some graphics to make my life a little easier.

    At any rate; this will be a standard 2D tower defense game, with a few twists here and there to give it something special.

    It does have some requirements, those of which include:

    The XNA 3.1 Redistributable (Not required if you have XNA 3.1 Game Studio installed)
    .NET 3.5 SP1
    A windows PC, or emulator capable of running the above.

    I have no idea how the game will perform on crappy PCs, but we'll get there when we get there. I'm actively building in graphical options as I go to hopefully cut down on things if need be, but for now, it's just a basic outline and work in progress.

    Below you'll find the current build of the game (in all it's unfinished glory!) as well as any notes I find required for you to know. The download link should hopefully never change, so I won't need to be updating it (check back often to see if there's any new progress).



    Current build notes:
    This build is just a demo of the new screen system. (Mostly ripped from XNA's GameStateManagement system) I've recoded most of it to accept mouse input, and written quite a few custom screens/controls for it.
    New level management system is implemented. See this thread for more info.
    WE HAS MUSIC! And many more sound effects.
    The gameplay is... gone... well, at least you can't currently get to it! It won't be back until I've decided on a gameplay UI. (Suicidity's is looking very promising)

    Critical notes:

    Some songs don't care to take into account music volume. An issue that will be fixed sooner or later. (Laziness is the causing factor here...)

    P.S:

    I'm looking for decent graphics, of any kind. (Logos, icons, tower sprites, enemy sprites, projectiles, menus, etc) I suck at graphics, so your support would be awesome. Full credit would be given of course.

    Do you plan on accompanying this awesome work with a [Game structure/logic/..] series like your previous [Bot Development] series at some point?
