I recently purchased an Apple iPhone 3GS, and I'm absolutely loving it! However I don't really know many of the handy and cool apps you can get for it. Could you guys & gals share with me some of the ones you have and use?

Any suggestions are welcome and all types of applications!

First you need to jailbreak your Iphone 3GS, install Installous and the crack to import CRACKED apps with itunes

1. iBlacklist - allows you to blacklist people you don't want calling you and the call will automatically disconnect on them.

2. Battery - to show your battery percentage if you don't plan on hacking your phone like I did.

3. Backgrounds - lots of nice pictures fitted to work for Iphones desktop space. Many categories to find the background for you.

4. TWC - The Weather Channel App - always know the weather in Maine, even if you don't live there!

5. Cool Facts - random facts about random stuff, its fun to use in the car or at school or at work.

6. Birthdays - Keeps track of birthdays, alerts you when they are coming up. Saved my relationship im sure lol.

7. ATM Hunter - does just that, finds you atms near you.

8. AOL Radio - A free radio system that picks up local stations as well as web stations.

9. Epic Pet Wars - just a fun game to play when you have a second of down time.

10. Remote - Remote control for IR devices.

11. Showtimes - shows the current show times for all your local theaters.

12. iHandy Level - you would be surprised how many times i have used this to find out if a picture frame is level or not.

13. Shazam - ever hear a song on the radio and you think "i wonder who that is" Well use this to find out while its playing, its an awesome app.

16. Chess Free - a free chess game, go figure!

17. Tower Puzzle - a cool puzzle game dealing with how you rotate the phone.

23. "bank app" - nearly all big banks have an Iphone app now, i use the Wells Fargo one.

24. Evernote - a note system that alerts you, its nice.

25. Flash Light - changes the screen to whatever color you want.

26. eReader- allows you to read eBooks on your phone!

27. Tracker Lite - Allows you to track UPS, DHL, Fedex packages on your phone with details.

28. Free Wi-fi - searches your area and taps into a database of free wi-fi locations to find the one nearest to you.

29. iXpenseit - A budget app that helps you manage money while you go!

30. Units - a quick table to show conversions of one type of unit to another.

Now for more system related apps:

31. Backgrounder - Enables the ability to run a program in the background while you do something else, that way the program doesn't have to load back up when you go back to it.

32. DeviceDNA - Easy display of your phones Unique Device number, device name, os version, etc.

33. MemTool - Allows you to watch your phones system memory.

34 TV Out - allows you to display your phone on a tv with the right connectors.

35. Speed Test - tests your internet connection speed.



Now if you end up Jailbreaking your phone later down the road, there are loads more programs youll want, but this should start you.

Does jail breaking my phone compromise anything? Like make it so I can't get updates, or change the phone permanently forever in some unchangeable way? Also I'm guessing it would probably breach my warranty.
