Favorite Lan games

post your favorite lan games, my top 3 is here:


1. Age of empires 2 : The age of Kings
This is simply a musthave game for any LAN, big or small, its so fkin awesome.

2. Bomberman http://rapidshare.com/files/23221323..._Bomberman.rar
because any computer can play it, was good for those boring lessons in school as well plus the frustration of the "easy looking game" can be so fun when at a LAN
Bomberman is more on the list because i played it at school so

3. Red Alert / starcraft
The good old game can be fun as well i love them to bits, however 3rd place on my favorite LANgames bomberman and age of empires are on the top.

anyways post urs and why u believe they are good. Counterstrike and such are not on my list because imo u need to be 16 or more at a LAN in order for a CS game to be truely awesome. the others are more for the usual LANs with only 4-8 ppl .

EDIT: Rise of Nations! Almost forgot that one. You should try it, its awesome! And else you got Left 4 Dead, but dunno if thats a success @ LAN.

Agree with kur fking awesome game for lan as it can last for ages, playes for 4 hours in a row once

2. Time splitters 3 for original xbox
One of the best games ive ever player especially with the bots you can add and map making features

3. Gmod
Lol you can do anything on gmod pratically and its great lawls with mates with the features, also with Gmod 10 or 11 (cant remember which is latest) you can go into campaign mode

2. World of Warcraft (much easier because of the instant talking. of some reason mic talking always lags for me so i recieve too late...+ its funnier to be many peoples in a room.)
3. Don't really know but i think Diablo 2 or Day of Defeat comes here.

1. Age of Empires 2. My dad, my brother, and I all used to play together on our LAN, some of the best times ever.
2. Midtown Madness 2. Very entertaining multiplayer, had great mods too.
3. Motocross Madness 2. Looking back at it, I wouldn't be entertained by this now, but I had loads of fun exploring the levels. Just has a nice old-school feeling to it, maybe it's just me, but I still have some good memories with it.

sry but this thread wasnt to boost your epeen about drinking or smoking . It was for top LAN games, funny how everyone but you could do it.

Time splitters 3 was awesome. I loved making the map and then doing it with my friends. Sooo many playeable characters...Can give custom name to bots etc,..

I loved making some kind of scary level with a lot of zombies and putting us all in one room behind some bunker thingy. I put all of the zombies to walk to our room and it was darn awesome.

You reminded me of great times 2d :P

When we have lan parties we usually end up playing wc3 (dota,wowarena), cs or wow. One of the Greatest lans we had was back in the good old days of vanilla wow when we were exploring hyjal at 4-5 am, lol.

Sadly I've been so busy with school lately that I haven't been on any LANs for like 6 months :/
