Mic troubles

So ive had this really nice headset for awhile now its a Plantronics Audio 350. Now for some reason the mic has stopped working. You can hear the background and just some muffeling but not my voice when I ush my "push to talk" button in vent.

Has anyone else had this problem? I have a $15 mic from walmart that works just fine bit the Plantronics Audio 350 wont work. The headset is fine but the mic is funky.

Friend of mine had the same mic, the wiring was lame on it and when I popped it open just needed to be soldered back together.

You might also need to enable the mic boost on your sound control panel. Some mics need it, some don't.
