    Loss

My thoughts are with the friends and families of the people killed in at Virginia Tech today.

I am aware that Jack Thompson is currently on the news blaming the whole thing on video games. The man is reprehensible. And that's all I'm going to say on the subject.

    Side note:
The death toll at Norris Hall makes the incident the deadliest school attack in U.S. history, surpassing attacks at Columbine High School in 1999 and at the University of Texas in 1966.
    NOT TRUE:
The Bath School disaster was a series of bombings in Bath Township, Michigan, USA, on May 18, 1927, which killed 45 people and injured 58

    Re: Loss

Yeah its a shame that we have people like that walking around. Also worst is that the equally crazy people on the news blaming everything from the Devil to video games instead of taking some responsibility and trying to fix society. Unfortunately these people are elected representatives most of the time...

    Ugh, more drama >.<
The news is just looking for a cause, and looking for a scapegoat, not an actual feasable reason.

This is a tragedy, nevertheless. But remember people

agreed. thanks. hes transferring out next year too.

and ill say that Jack Thompson is a bastard of a lawyer, but i dont believe that this is merely "drama." what happened today is truely awful, and to not care is just as worse. i cant imagine how awful id feel if i were a parent of one of the deceased. 33 dead.

    Re: Loss

too bad, but really i DO understand snor a bit, I mean just because this happened in america or such then its all bad..
how many innocent Iraqi's are killed every day? How many people are getting killed in Africa each day?
Of course it's sad when 33 ppl die, but IN MY OPINION it is nothing major.... it happened in a university, true, but is that really that much different from what is going on in the streets in other parts of the world?
