I am grounded for life from WoW!!! I need help, All my friends have about 2 lvl 70's and my first accound got banned from afk gliding durring the night.

i need a way to convince my parents to unground me. the reason they ground me is because my grades. (2 C's and a D) i dont think they are that bad right? if only i had a [gnomish mind control cap] anyways i need help convincing them WoW is a good thing. Any ideas?

hehe any type of wow i am grownded from and my dad plays so he can see any advancement of charactors :P. and i have to wait till summer till i can play again and thats too long

Although in my experience when I was a kid, it doesn't work. Some people just got it in their head that they are right about all. However, if my grades were that low when I was playing UO I would have begged someone to ground me for life!

WoW is a game, keep that in mind. You'll want to put real life first regardless of how difficult that may be. If you think a D "isn't that bad" then you really should take a break from WoW. A D is one step away from failing and having to retake a class.

I agree and i hope the original poster will to, WoW isnt going anywhere anytime soon, get into gear and make the grades good. You dont want to live with your parents forever playing WoW in the basement calling people noobs for the rest of your life?

Til then maybe try and setup the 2.0+ TBC server thatll make ya feel stupid i guarantee it! Or maybe thats just me...

haha Matt lol'ed irl. But yeah D's arent good, i get 4 A's 3 B's and 1 C every term and that is even considered bad where i live, everyone gets straight A's. DO better in school man, but play wow too, jsut not to much (when your not grounded) Life requires balance, never forget that.

Show them this, I had my computer taken away for the Easter holidays because my mum doesn't realise I have a sleeping disorder.

I've been drunk every single night for two weeks.
I've smoked more weed then I have in the rest of my life.
I've been to hospital for injuries aquired while intoxicated.
WoW keeps me from getting into bad circles and keeps my grades up, this may sound sad but it gives me mini incentives in life, and keeps me optimistic.

yea, those grades do kinda suck >.> but i agree with matt and everyone else who said get your grades up. now that you're not playing WoW you can actually do work :P try to compromise with your parents that if your grades improve in the next couple of weeks, to let you play WoW again. so just work really hard for those couple of weeks, and the viola, you get to play WoW again.

edit: hm. i just realized after seeing innit's post... now that ive stopped playing WoW, ive been doing a lot more stuff i shouldnt be :O
