How hard would it be for me to get Linux and Ubunta and be able to run all my programs Wow,Msn,Vent,etc....?

First of all, it's Ubuntu and you don't run linux and ubuntu, ubuntu is a linux distribution.

Wow:
Runs in wine (Wine makes it possible to run windows programs)

Msn:
Doesn't run in wine but has it's native linux client called Amsn
Pidgin is also a possibility

Ventrillo:
Runs with wine either

If you want to know wheter an app runs with wine, just search wine appdb

Many programs also have native client or program which are alike.
Just google for "<program> linux native client"
