And what is the easiest way to get rid of a background and keep the main thing? Any tutorials for that would be cool too

depends what program ur using tell me what program ur using and ill find or make a quick tutorial for you!

in order to get rid of the background depends on the type of background you have if its mostly one color you can just use the magic eraser tool with 30 to 50 percent tolerance

also you can use the select color range from the select menu but that is more advanced, if you would give a bit more info on what your trying to do i would be more than happy to help
