Friend linked me this chick from a filyl thread, she looked nice and purdy so i thought id draw her



Oppinions welcome. Hair isnt too good looks like ruffled feathers a handy quide on sketching hair would be ace aswell! cheers.

You got a nice base, shapes are fine. Your main problem is the shadowing, however. The lips are almost plain white while in reality they have a lot of color. Hair is very white as well and you could use some more shadows around the nose and eyes. Browsing Resources & Stock Images on deviantART has a ton of tutorials for the hair, take a look.

Overall, it's a good start but could use some more shadowing to make it look realistic. Keep it up

touched it up abit more and re did the hair. I'll post final result when i get the time to finish it all.

Much better. Hair and shirt still looks a bit pale though, may we see the original? Can't wait for final result

Oh she's a brunette, way stronger hair then Tutorials by cataclysm-x on deviantART that's the tutorial I was looking for. You should check out her other tutorials as well, great practice.

Sunday mornin gave me a few mins to get bak to the image

Definitely getting there. The hair is very nice but there's still something with the face, it could use a tad more shadow. The eye's white area isn't completely white either so you may want to have a look at that.

Also, one thing I noticed is that you haven't drawn her shoulder which makes her look a bit... cut off.
