Colors are pretty good. Depth could be a bit better, but good job on blurring the hand.
The lines to the left of the render could be blended better or removed.
The one without text looks pretty good. Not a big fan of the comic strip though, but that's just my opinion.

It looks weird if the arm is blurred the same amount as the hand. The comic strip is a nice extra but the white/black color of the borders is too hard.
And it looks alot better without text.

I have no idea then man.

Well... I made a picture where I wrote with
R 224
B 225
G 225
And the background is 225, 224, 225. And it's not visible when saved as either png or jpg file. But it's pretty easy to spot when inside photoshop.

Pretty sure he means your work background.

You have your Image you are working on, and everything around that is default white. You can set it to whatever you like, i set mine to a grey.

What? I made the comic strip part white on purpose o.O my background is normally transparent
