I think you need to calm down just a little bit. I didnt know that im not aloud to take images off google...i'll never do it again lol I was just trying to make mmowned something cool and please you guys are doing something much worse and intentional with this site.

id have to agree a bit. I am hoping your a minor, but i learned all about copyrighting and citing in middle school. But mmowned is protected with their Privacy Policy located here: MMOwned.com Privacy Policy. . I think you need to take a second and research and make sure you are correct. Internet rules are somewhat laxed, but **** up in a job or something large, you will be sued.

a removal and a lol-slap-on-wrist attitude doesn't teach you shit, you stole ARTWORK. you CLAIMED it as your own, and attempted to BRAND it as yours. that goes beyond google image durr hurr.

edit: you could go so far as to say you photomanip'd but you didn't, not even a tinybit, you did text and cut off the name and author of the artpiece, that was intentional.

honestly I think the person would understand if a kid used a picture they found on google not knowing better and then deleted it when they found out they shouldn't have. Once again just relax I get it your like exploding your not my mom I dont need some random person on the internet to yell at me but informing me is the right thing to do.

Being a digital artist myself, completely understand and back up remus' rage. It doesn't matter if you're a minor or not, because if you are then your parents get the burden of the lawsuit when someone goes after your ass for taking their shit.

I still dont think I did anything horribly wrong I deleted it because it wasnt supposed to use the picture like everyone said..I dont study law im a kid your talking to a minor with minor knowledge in areas that your are proficient.

im obviously going to check to see if someone has their own company who makes the google pictures now

and even then it is ****ed up to go to google, find an image be it googled or damn stolen from deviant art page itself, and call it your own in an attempt at "enriching the website"? "epeen"? "a contest"? going a bit far beyond making it your desktop.

you don't see people(inthe B&P areas) ripping other peoples code in their entirety and posting the bots/code saying it's theirs now do you? same concept code art, drawn art. lastly written art being stories.

It has been proven that you stole the image, put your name on it and then claimed it as your own. I'm closing the thread as I'm sure you've learned your lesson, but I'd like to state it again: stealing copyrighted material is NOT a good thing to do. Imagine you in his position: wouldn't you be mad if some random douche stole your artwork and claimed it as your own? I sure would be.
