What do you guys think needs to be changed?

Get rid of the Blizzard logo. Thats copyright infringement at its best.

I am curious on how you plan to splice it.

The forums at the bottom I am assuming will have children templates to accomadate the pull,

which will offset your VOTE banner, and probably throw off your Server stats, unless you DIV it.

How do you plan on expansion for table breaks when your forum feeds news.

The right side is a little bland. Also, table breaks.. what happens when you need to expand it a little.

Your login form is going to have a line break below it, assuming your using php and html so you will have a <\br> forced after <form> so make sure you take that into consideration when you splice.

Whats with the 1 inch gap above HOME buttons and the top of the border?
