They're going for improved readability, not fancy looks. The originals all have artifacting around them and damn-near everything you guys have submitted looks somewhat illegible. When he said "pops out" I think he was aiming for more contrast.

Its not like I know alot about this kind of stuff, but im just gonna claim that you have no clue what youre talking of

I would ask you to look at the originals and then look at the works submitted by others here to see what I'm talking about; if you cannot see my point, then you have no eyes, I'm afraid.

Anyhow; we're requesting a full set of new badges for us to use.

Warning: There are roughly 14 images that need to either be remade, or 'fixed'. Whichever you choose to do.

That was exactly my point, Naru. They want new ones to replace the old, distorted ones, but the submitted ones have been--for the most part--plagued by the same problems as the originals.

The numerical award emblems that Remus did were some of the best presented thus far in regards to clarity, with only a couple losing legibility due to color choice.
