Ditch the text on the 2nd. Ruins it entirely.

I'd say the text in the 1st one is more distracting than in the 2nd. Try experimenting with fonts that aren't "skinny"

On the 2nd one I'd like to see the colorful graphical elements blend more. The blue/yellow squiggly lines especially feel like they walk the fine line between clean and blurry. Either go for a 100% clean sharp graphical look, or go for an artsy blended look. Currently looks like a semi-mix and it's not 100% working.

Overall I like them both. I like seeing a nice bright sig since 80% of the ones folks make these days tend to go towards the darker side of colors.

the placement in the first one is the only real issue with its text. The text looks good, I would just make it bold, smaller, and relocate it.

as far as the sig, blending looks like very iffy. and I mean iffy[/B].

as for banner, I think you either sharpened it too much or your stock is grotesque.

and your current sig's text placement is frustrating me, at least make a new later on top of your smudge and change the opacity so you can see the fl at least a bit.
