updated spacebot + crewbot

I ran mine last night set to log out to other characters after every 10 and do crewskills on 4 others. It ran perfect up to 78 wins then the damn game closed. So its working perfectly for me. Version 3.41 was the one I was using. Haven't tried the latest yet.

I get APPCRASH which I dont think is this bots fault but I have it set to log back in and after 66 wins the game crashed and the bot logged back in and was stuck on the character select screen saying " waiting for play button to become available". So there must have been a hiccup somewhere. Other than that it works pretty good but I cant leave it on overnight. Tried 3 nights so far and non successful yet lol.

Another bug - when you have 2 toons with similar names (for example first char "Bread", second "BreadABC") crew skill bot logs and runs missions twice to the first char ignoring the second one.

The tooltip said "waiting for load screen to finish".

what version? and what are your system settings/version

you guys keep giving me shit for details on the error, or your situation (what system you're running, what windows version, what version of the bot, what the game is trying to do, what the game window is showing, etc. etc. etc.)

don't expect a lot of help from me when it seems you're too lazy to provide me with detailed information i've already asked you for, or information you should assume you need to provide, and like i said, don't expect much support on the forums, it's just way too involving sometimes

ask the people who i've helped on skype how much more useful and easier it's been using skype messenger

if i sound frustrated it's because i left my skype address in the first post for a reason, use it

Let me confirm how much Breadguy can help over Skype. The guy worked with me for over 6 hours last night getting this thing going. For anyone having the same trouble I was having, try these solutions:

If you are running Windows XP, any non-Aero theme, or it cant seem to find your world map or galaxy map; Make a new Screenshot of defender.bmp, galaxy.bmp, logout.jpg, logoutimmediate.jpg,logoutyes.jog, and minimap.jog In fact, If Breadbot isnt working for you, chances are there is an image file you need to replace with your own screencap

To do the above, simply look at the image and see what it is supposed to be. For example, defender.bmp is the map icon in the bottom-right of the screen. Take a screenshot of the screen with printscreen and then crop out that image and put it in the Images folder--exactly like you did with firstchar.jpg.

Avoid making stupid mistakes in your settings like I did. Make SURE none of the character slots you don't wish to use are "active". Triple check! Also triple check to make sure none of the crew slots you don't wish to use are active. I had mine bug out because I had companions 3 and 4 checked when I had not yet received by 3rd and 4th companion!

If you're new to botting like me, it can be easy to overlook mistakes like this, and I had certainly never thought of replacing my own images. However, if the bot isn't at least logging in and going on a space mission, its very likely you need to replace those image files. Good luck!

Time to wait between relaunching says <60 and won't go higher than 60 even if i put in something higher. Top tier slicing missions are 71 minutes and change so I want to put in approx 76 minutes between launching so it only logs in once they are done. Is this possible?

Yep, you can replicate the error easily. Set "wins before logging into other characters" to 1 and "wins before taking break" to 2 (and 1 minute break) and let it run for a bit.

Eventually the bot will log into one of the characters alright, but the tooltip will remain at "waiting for load screen to finish". Happened within half an hour on these settings, as there are a lot of load screens happening, especially with 3 crew botting characters. Seems that load screen detection is to blame for this one.

Tested with 3.44.

Hey ! First of all, thanks for you great program, it works like a charm! Or almost :-) In fact I've encountered issues with the same mission over and over again: Imperial Saleucemi. The event at the beginning (big ship, ice stuff) is never found and I keep getting bailed out of the mission or just hiting ice blocks while shooting in the void because the sync is invalid. The other missions I've recorded work just fine but this one never starts correctly. Any idea?

This bot just keeps getting better and better. I was wondering if we could see a setting that would tell the bot which to page to look on for characters. Keep up the great work!
