i have a perfect solution to this problem but first see if you or someone can answer my question which is "is the crewskill bot in this program capable of logging into multiple characters or just one?" or can any program on this site do this, run crewskill missions on multiple characters.

i know macrogoblin can but i want multiple programs for the same task should one not be supported anymore.

Where do you sell your credits then? Scout for guilds and get friendly with them? Or do you haggle them? I have a feeling that you went through the reseller sites for a couple weeks, saw returning customers, and just deal with them personally. I don't mind getting 10-15 per M. I don't play the ****ing game anyway, know what I mean? Lucky plays the game for me. Maybe you should give TMicheal 5-10M that you sell from credits that his bot made you.

Thank you. Keep up the good work, love this bot

To those having issues with not getting this to work correctly: I have noticed on several occasions that the bot gets broken when you have certain resolutions on, regardless of what the calibration says. The best luck I am having is setting my VM's to 1920x1080 resolution. You won't be able to see your whole desktop even in full screen mode (assuming you don't use 1920x1080 on your main). Bot works great inside a VM without giving it a dedicated mouse and keyboard.

If I use someone like 1440x990 or whatever it is, the bot does absolutely nothing. No worries though, a couple clicks to change resolution and problem solved.

I appreciate the kudos yorhey, but I'm not the program's author; I'm just one programmer working on code and updates for a mammoth program which has had many contributors since its inception. I have put quite a bit of sweat into the project over the past few weeks, but so have most of the other programmers at one time or another. Regardless, thank you - those kudos are always nice to hear.

Per credit sales, I suspect that most of us sell through buyers found in the SWTOR Buy Sell Trade forum subsection. Most of the posters there represent established gold/credit selling websites, so they have a sizable customer base. Set your price with them, and they will eventually cave in when they realize you won't go any lower.

Per the pve grind bot, Cyst had some ideas in this area, and would probably want to take point if anything of the sort is implemented. He's been away for a while, but should be back here more often once real life settles down a bit.

Next up on my personal work list:

    • Fix a few of the remaining issues with the session starter
    • Crew skills (per the question about multiple missions earlier, I'll have to dig into the code to see what the issues currently are, but I expect it all to be working once I'm finished)
    • Investigating the viability of adding recorder functionality as another space mission option

TMichael, when you get an account banned, how does BW/EA go about it. Do they do IP bans so all accounts that use that IP get screwed? Do they do machine ID resulting in the forced use of a VM? Or do they just ban the account in question and just that account? I am very curious about this.

It's definitely not an IP ban or my main account would have been banned a long time ago. I do make use of alternate IP addresses now to be safe, but I think bans and suspensions are simply based on individual account investigations.

If you happen to be in space botting when BW security checks for botting behavior, then you're probably nailed. Likewise, once you've made your first credit sale, know that you will probably receive the ban hammer at some point. All you can really do is try to avoid too many red flags.

in my crewskill question i did not ask about multiple missions, i'm asking about multiple characters.

in other words you log into first character, send all companions on missions, log into the second character and do the same, etc

Okay TM, you said you had 2 suspensions and 1 ban, I seen you posted within the past couple days on the other thread that you sold, how many accounts do you have? lol

I have... a number of accounts *cough*. If one goes down, I just start a new one. And on it goes.

Ah, sorry for the confusion. The only issue I see with this is the character order on the Character Select screen; the last character used is always at the top while the rest are listed in alphabetical order. Finding the correct character on which to check on crew skills, and run space missions, would be difficult short of individualized image search pics for each user.

I'm sure we could find a way, though, with a little out of the box thinking.

this will solve your problem. you could probably even use this method to store the swtor installation folder outside of the vm. but you can certainly do this method to transfer it without running into the problem you have.

when the vm is powered off click on "edit virtual machine settings" then click the options tab, then click on shared folders and enable it and and check map as network drive and choose the folder or drive and then click ok. now when run the vm you will see the drive or folder from within the vm and you can transfer it.

OK, got my new vm setup with windows 7 having a problem with my window size, the game looks stretched sideways a little making everything look fat. In game is windowed 1024 x 768 The window looks about right, but things in game look wide or fat. This causes the bot to fail to choose a mission. I am sure it is just one option I am missing, can anyone help me out ?

No I do not haggle. I sell direct to gold sellers like the resellers do. When I add them as a contact I tell them MY rules of business. Rule number 1. Do not ask for a lower price, if my price is not acceptable please ask someone else. It is quite simple really. The gold sellers make a ridiculous amount of money off of you. Also, if you dont mind selling credits for $10/m please pm me I will buy it from you for sure.
