yep, its a double bladed sword, find and help create exploits/bots or what have you, more people use them and they get nerfd anyway hope the bot project keeps working out

If bioware wants to detect it they will. I think they already made accounts here if they're not stupid.
Anyway, I have plans about this. But for now this is a simple beta which will be updated like every day, so it doesn't matter

I would love to beta test your bot, but i'm confused about a few things, Malharhak. Certain computers will have different shades of the pixels for the game (EX. My bot I made works perfect on my PC, but fails on my laptop even though the resolution is the same. (Diff Graphics Cards) - How do you plan to approach this? Are you using PixelDetection with shading variations or what?

Thank you, i have been worried about this....only took a few days for people to catch on and now im weary of using it. From the looks of it, it only uses pixel detection and keyboard input, so i would figure it would be safe. Can they scan the running process on the computer and detect it this way?

No. They won't do something like that. They have more problems which have higher priority than this. But players know that this bot exist (if they read in the forum), and that could be a problem for the botters. I know some people from wow, they searched bots and reportet them in bgs, because they want justice.

So if a player gets x amount of reports for suspicious bot activity, could that result in a ban? Do you think bioware would warn first?

nobody knows at this point what's going to happen when the reports of bots start coming in. My speculation, they'll send out warnings, but who knows.

Would be interested in testing the bot. Registered on your site as well!

Based on how many people I saw doing this in WoW and not getting banned, I don't think BioWare will be any harsher. Think it will depend on how frequently you do this. Just a guess though.
