yamashi or l2chef:care to share how you were able to decompress the packets? ive tried using C# zlib libraries and no go, so ive switched to trying C++ ones. From the 00ff, i can tell that it needs some sort of special flush mode, but all of the ones i have tried dont seem to work, got any suggestions/hints?
I've tried to contact him to assist, he read but never replied.
Still haven't had time to finish the sniffer...
So yeah, if you have wireshark dumps please send them to me when you can !

@finaldream:until someone releases info on what data is being hashed, that probably wont happen, i have code that can repack, but cant recompute the hashes, so it wont work
@BlackFootJones: I will try to brute filenames. Please share the program =)
Are you sure that your program correctly pack in this particular .pak?
P.S. where can I get the hashed file names? I have a program, that unpacking files, but renames it to 0001, 0002, 0003 and etc, but i need hash of the filename.
I need only edit one file from archive and pack it back.

@finaldream:i dont know if the hashes are hashes of the filenames or of the file data
nevermind, do you can share you program/code. I want to look at it.

The hash is probably just the data hash.

For those of you who are interested, the beta 6's protocol is the same as the beta 4, they added a few things but they went back to the beta 4. During the beta 5 the authentification and logon server were deflated, the datas are clear again except for the in game (deflated) !
