Try disabling windows scaling. Open your display settings and set it to 100%.

With the change of global scaling, the solution is certainly working but not convenient. I tried several options, and the one that worked for me involved a registry key. "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers" - look for our loader there and set the value to HIGHDPIAWARE.

Pretty sure you can do this by right clicking the shortcut to loader, selecting properties, compatibility tab, Change High DPI Settings button, check the High DPI scaling override box and select Application below. At least that worked for me. You should be able to tinker with those settings and find something that works.

I just re-installed Windows on my new HDD. I had to install .NET Desktop Runtime 6.0.15 from Download .NET 6.0 (Linux, macOS, and Windows)
I also have real-time windows protection off

windows 7 already 3 years unsupported, .net6.0 runtime will not work of them, or any other new runtimes. officialy windows 7 is dead. how you can run poe on them? all drivers are out dates... directx 12 only supported with windows 10+

I haven't tested it, but it should work. Download the .dll here, create a folder called ExpeditionIcons in your PoEHelper/plugins/compiled folder, and put the .dll in the folder you created.

Welcome back Teh Cheat, i stopped playing a long time ago and i used poehud. However this time im having such a hard time getting it to work. I am using a limited user. I have it windowed. I have downloaded the Net framework v.6.0. Windows scaling is 100%. Allowed the loader through my firewall, even tried turning off all security. However it shows the "X" in my taskbar then disappears after a second, i try to hit f12 and nothing happens. Maybe im just getting old idk any help would be great. Thank you either way.
