There's not a single "replace MTX" button.

Stutters should disappear after full preloading, just don't change any options and play a bit more. However I don't know your VM settings, make sure it's not the swap stuttering etc. You can also check hundreds of topics like this and (not) find the reason.

You can't change the options in the public version. "Remove shadows & fog" option is already selected. "Import mods" button is available.

Well, technically I can't call it "true black screen" but looks like there's no better method in 3.12, right. And it's 5 times cheaper if you play the first month of a league only. Or 2.5 times cheaper if you play September+October etc. Anyway the price & features amount are not the main pNE advantages. It does its job instantly without minor-patch-specific mod files, that's much more important feature as for me.

There's an info window with the message about it right after you start the app. If there's no info window, you don't need to search anything, just press the "Apply" button.

You can try to add exception lines to "data\ParticlesExceptList.txt" and "data\EpkExceptList.txt":

Having the same issue as Mexon; maybe I'm just dumb, but I can't seem to figure out where to find the .dll file. Tried to make my own (even used the example file name just in case) in Visual Studio, but it says invalid. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance
