Used this for Harbinger and Abyss league without limited user (no one really posted anything about limited user back then). Did they up the security since those two leagues?

ya think it was incursion league when they started banning people and detecting it

Can anyone help me with these performance options? I don't know which direction, far left or far right means more performance in each option.

So when I compile PoeHud myself plugins don't work. All I did was change the assembly name so the org. exe isn't the same. What am I messing up?

The only option that I've noticed to have visible performance difference when playing with it is Render Limit (at least iirc that's the name of it). It appears to regulate max fps the hud works at. Lowering it greatly decreases hud cpu usage on my pc. But ofc it'll mean the hud will appear choppier whether it's map icons or health bars. But I don't see much difference in smoothness until below 40~. Check it out.

Anyone else got problems that PoE get closed sometimes for no reason?

i'm farming maps and sometimes i just get frozen and my PoE doesnt work anymore and gets closed.
No idea if it's my build (Winter Orb) or something with PoEHud or my PoE

If you mean getting closed by just disappearing without any error messages, yes. Doesn't happen very often tho.
