I'm Windows 10. The new one. So a lot of people are getting the error on all versions of Windows. It broke 2 updates ago. Has to be it trying to connect to your server and failing. Could it be an address issue?
Do you set a limit for how many versions a certain ip can use it?

It does the same error on multiple computers. All Windows 10. Didn't even open.

it's not a question of "gaming Windows" or such since it's occurring in all versions from 10 to 7, those "gaming" isos are really suspicious at best anyways
The error screen says "Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel", meaning YOUR server is handling security certificates wrongly, check their version and a quick google into stack overflow will fix it.

Is not the server, is not like i use some home server for a public domain..lolz.
Those "gaming windowz" are highly verified by their own stuff from that torrent site..

And the problem occurs only for SOME users that are using win7/8.1 ..

The change in tool was a response to the "false positive" virus, from so many anti-viruses..because the code contained one http: request, instead of an https:/
So, i did the change, from http ---> to https:/ .. and the "it's a virus" problem disappeared.

I'll do my best to test an win7 laptop.. but, for god sake .. it's 2022 already!

    - Phoenix LiteOS 11 Home Gamer (22000.376) x64 - am using this on my main comp and a poor laptop .. works flawlessly with just few simple setups.

Note: .. i tried to install an windows 7 on that laptop that i have,.. and man, it's sooo much hassle, no drivers for usb.. no drivers for bla bla bla... it's so pointless to keep using such and old os .. in 2022 (win 7 it's like 17 years old).
    I just gave up.

Yeah. None of mine. Both Windows 10. Might try having a few friends open it and see if they experience it the same.
I've run it on my laptop and my desktop before. No issues. Now I get the same error message on both machines, started a few updates ago. Sometimes I'll randomly re-download to see if anything changed. I've released my IP from my ISP and assign a new one. Same issue. Tried everything on my end. Allowed all connections on all browser settings, Chrome itself was deleting the file before, turned off all protection, exempt the folder from scans, which also deleted it before, allowed all connections with network firewall settings. Now it downloads on both machines with no warnings. Just the error message when starting it up. Even tried wiping out the security certificates I had on the desktop and nothing.

Yes, before it was a simple http:/ request.. and it was detected as a virus, hence the deletion of it.
    Now it's https:/
But.. is still working for me and townsend of other users.

... don't know what to say .. just try another windows.. dunno.

Where was the https updated? Was it also updated in the SSL certificate to match program code?

Is it because it tries to establish a secure connection that's not there?

I did notice sometimes when I check your site it goes http and others it's https. Maybe it's just making sure all http addresses are https?

Between that and Verizon Fios ISP. Guessing.

Https:// (in the code) - it was http://
The server address is https:// - had to install SSL certifications.. but this was 2 years ago.
Suddenly, the tool was detected as a virus,.. without any changes.. like a league before.
People were asking why is detected like this.. and i did a virustotal.. and like 50+ antiviruses were on red.
I haven't changed anything until 2-3 weeks ago.
After changing that code part into https:// .. all went fine with Virustotal - but now some people have connections issue.

And i have ZERO knowledge about SSL and all that other crap..

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I'll keep tinkering here. Your work is so good I can't play without it!
