I understand what you are saying...you completely disabled Xph...and only enabled Old method for corrupted areas. But, -- > there is nothing to show if you enable "Use Corrupted Title", with Xph disabled. You cannot use Corrupted title with Xph disabled.
If you disable Xph...then also disable UseCorruptedTitle...then press F5.
After any changes you do with Xph/Area/Corrupted title....press F5 to refresh the hud.
Try and let me know how it is.

I did it with The Aqueduct but it not an issue cause i know its probably a false positive when i get one coming from my HO

ok, i did that exactly, now there're some false cz-detection: 
also, after that i enabled corr.title and enabled xph - it also show that cz is present, but it's wrong. (totally checked twice)
mb cz is thinking that it's Haku?

Could be that Demonic Rain sound who triggers false detection ..if it's loaded randomly on specific maps/locations. Dunno , must be tested.
edit : I have removed the check for that sound, if you want to test it ...here : https://github.com/thisTwo/qhud/releases
This is a light version of the hud, has some feature removed.
You can use your own hud until there is a false detection, then fire this up and make the comparation.

found another zone, switched to your light hud, aaand... the same false cz-detection (checked the whole zone ofc)

btw, before i could launch this vers. i got a .NET error, "System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Файл 'C:\Users\me\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile\thisBest.filter' не найден.
Имя файла: 'C:\Users\me\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile\thisBest.filter'
after creating such path and filter all became good)

If i go to town and then back to the same where i had a CZ 1 sec before its now gone

Fixed version of corrupted area false reports or missing one : https://github.com/vmv/vmv-PoeHud/releases
- tested in many areas, 100% accurate, i hope there are no more false reports or missing one.
- use "start" shortcut as shortcut, to have an icon on desktop/taskbar.
Please report if there are any errors.

I actually found unique barrel right now standing right next to it. hud is not seeing it. all it sees is simple strongbox
i need ideas what else to put in preload to try to detect this unique , cant sit forever on map, so if can contact me asp

i shut down hud and rerun it again and suddenly it is seeing unique barrel??
I know it wasnt seeing it before that.

Sounds like they're waiting until you're within proximity to load the assets for it. Not much that can be done about that.

Could be like TehCheat said, in proximity...
When i discovered one...i didn't had those lines in my preload_alert (stupid me):
Metadata/Chests/Barrels/Barrel1; Unique Strange Barrel 1; ffAF6025
Metadata/Chests/Barrels/Barrel1.ao; Unique Strange Barrel 1; ffAF6025
I put them inside and restarted the hud, the preload show it....
I've got to town and back...still there. Maybe after has been recognized...it's preloading.
After a while of testing it,...i have open it.
If it's only a barrel, and is loading when in proximity...we can't do much.
But, i'm sure this was read as Simple Strongbox first.
edit : If you use this above lines in your preload_alert, there won't be any weird alerts.
