It does...it puts an list on the right side of masters, strongboxes, corrupted areas detected in the area

With that said I would be a little careful of only scumming for zones with a particular thing for a long time, they might be able to see something like that activity.

Btw, if it's privacy over using this.Using a subscription fee would limit how many people use this, yes. All GGG has to do is buy this as well and it wouldn't be hard to detect it IF they decided to implement some server/client protection. Some games out there detect reading of memory, and will just ban you after a short while. Of course, whether GGG has the time/resources to dedicate to it is another story. They're probably making a lot of money now with the new expansion and are devoting more resources to this. Won't be surprised in a year's time where this is over.

Anybody know why some features would work and others not? I have used a previous version before taking a short leave from the game, and everything worked fine. This tells me all my files should be fine (.net, slimdx, etc) now, however, i get the item alerts and the map hack but things like enemy health bar and the options menu that used to sit on the top left are gone. any help is appreciated, thanks

edit: I lowered my resolution and all is working now. Just leaving this here in case somebody else has this issue.

it worked for like 2hours but now i get again the error >.< it says that alert.wav is not in the right place. I dont move it it is still in sounds folder.

maybe true in general, but it wont keep those away, who really spoil the game: those who compete for rewards and those who have big influence on the market: aka (pro) racers and (currency) farmers. Those who want to stay top on the ladders will keep using it, regardless if theres a paywall or not.No one, in name GGG cares about the causual Standard Player who just wants to make his gaminglife easier and bit more convenient, at elast compared to the above 2 kinds of players.

TL;DR the amount of players using it is not the trigger, its the kind of players that would make GGG acting against it

It's a matter of impacting their revenue. If the impact on "legit" players is minimal and people maintain that the races appear to be "fair" then nothing will likely happen.

If people start bitching about cheaters and hackers always winning then GGG will be forced to do something. It's the same reason Blizzard isn't constantly changing things up and constantly banning people for new tools. PQR was fine for a long time until enough people started saying it was EZmode and lots of people started bragging about DPS and stuff that isn't possible for a vast majority of people. Blizzard has to do something about it. Otherwise all that work to ban players and stuff is just a huge money sink. They can spend an infinite amount of money and still not do away with all bots/hackers. It's a game of diminishing returns.

That said a paywall is not the answer unless a lot of previously unavailable functionality becomes available. What will happen though is GGG will investigate how to only send map data that is in proximity to the user instead of knowing the second you step into the zone.
