A little request for a poor player

I don't really want to hack, I'm just wondering if anyone could help me bypass (with CE or something like that) the automatic window resizing for resolutions lower than 800x600.

I can edit the .ini file for the resolution I want, but when I move the window, it snaps back to 800x600. I want to keep it with the resolution I want

This would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

If you go to your documents>games>poe>production_Config.ini
You can manually edit the window size.

The game then starts at whatever resolution you put in. However if it's lower than 800x600, for some reason it automatically resizes it to 800x600 if you move the window.

Maybe there's an easy solution, so I thought I'd ask for help as my computer is kinda bad =(

So, I found a program called DirectX Windower (1.8, and it allows me to resize it back to anything below 800x600 without having to restart the client/editing the .ini file.

But I still can't move the window without the game auto-resizing to 800x600.

Tried to find memory adress with CE to freeze , but I'm having no luck.

Someone please help me! I will keep trying

Ok, so I think the problem is not the game, but Windows itself. I think I'm making some progress.

Ok, so my temporary solution was this:

directx windower and DM2. I set the size with directx, then using DM2: float PoE to icon and place to wherever i want and restore.

Not pretty , but does the job. If someone comes up with a better solution, pleeease feel free to share with us!

Whats the point to get resolution LOWER than 800x600? Are you trying to play poe from a cell phone or what?

For me particularly, there's 2 reasons: My computer can't handle, so making it smaller helps.

And I like to watch videos / browse while playing.

For other people, it could help multiboxing I guess

lol sorry to break it to you but if you are running anything less than 800x600 i think its time you upgrade your computer..
