Out of curiosity how so? Where you chaining quests togethor in the same way this guide does? Straight up grinding with a few quests thrown in?

I have leveled a character to 50 with and without this guide now, granted the first time I had literally no clue where or what I was doing... but it did feel a hell of a lot slower all around anyway, I found myself running back and forth a lot more than was necessary.

While im sure this guide isnt 'perfect' it does do a good job of making you run back and forth less turning things in only to discover that had you stuck around and finished another quest a bit further on.. you would have had to come back again then anyways.

Personally I cant wait to see the complete guide so I dont feel quite as lost for the 50-80 portion of the game as I do at the moment.

The problem I am just seeing is, the guide plain sucks, and its a way for him/her to try to make some quick cash off a brand new guide, with a poorly constructed leveling guide. Plus it's literally kind of impossible to make a leveling guide in this game in terms of quests, since most of the time is literally spent grinding 50+. So, he/she is going to have a hard time really making a guide for that, unless he/she says to grind/do the lame instances.

I leveled one character to 80, barbarian, in a week real life time. Currently doing a tempest to 80, shes 42. To level 42 on my tempest, it took 20 hours. I chain quested. 20-30something was all the kopshef province quests, just pounding them out.

MabusPwns is right. A 50-80 guide would be pointless. Here is a quick guide for those levels:

1) Go to Eiglophian Mountains mountains and quest to 54
2) Run out of quest
3) Grind to 60
4) Go to Thunder River and get red quest that you can't do yet.
5) Grind
6) Go to Atzel's Approach and try to figure out how to navigate the zone.
7) Actually find a quest location only to find 5+ people there
Give up on questing to join a grind group to 70
9) Go to Kheshatta
10) HOLY SHIT, there are alot of quest here!
11) Just kidding, grind to 80!

Oh well guess its time to take another character to 50 and grind a little on my main inbetween as much as I can stand it.

the fastest way to lvl is get a friend that is highlevel, go to his area, get another few m8s there and get apprenticed by the highlvl and just grind lose.. find some fast respawns and AOE like mad... u will get a lvl per 40 mins or so at 52
