Would anyone be offended by NOT using AHK and instead using a real bot? (implies that it's injection based)

Also... not to... sound selfish but...anyone think there's even somewhat of a decent market for it? Because...I can't use D2JSP to sell FG anymore (damn bans) lol. And well...Having 20 gotk's sitting in the bank from about a week of botting is getting me nowhere lol.

what type of market are you looking for though?

i have+am selling sometimes accs with certain characters on it on max level + some items if requested. but more as a small, quick side thing. as it only takes couple days to complete and its easy money.

I don't see how you can imply that AutoHotKey is not capable of real botting, I could inject with AutoHotKey if I chose to, but I prefer the safer memory reading route considering people have spent hundreds of dollars in game.

I have a new partner who is capable of reading in game memory structures without the need of injecting into the game as well, technically there is very little if anything at all that AutoHotKey cannot do.

My Alpha Version of my bot so far.

Features:

Injection based bot - Runs fully in the background.

Node based pathing (90% done)
Combat Logic
Looting Logic

Major Todos:
Improve all logic functions to allow more user customization. (25%)
Stash/Sell/Buy (0%)
Terminal Pathing Logic (50% done)
Fully Explore Logic (0% done)

Minor Todos:
Dps meter, experience meter, GUI, plenty of other stuff.

Release Information:
The bot is currently being majorly worked on and is NOT in a release or public testing candidate state, I'm very much a perfectionist so I want to make sure this thing can do 90% of what you guys need before I release it. As for if it will be free, probably not... it has to be updated every patch which doesn't take long, but is still work none-the-less. Not sure on any sort of pricing model, I'll worry about that when I get past public testing.

Questions/Comments/Concerns let me know!

Well as for testing it, Prolly another week or so until I feel as if some public testing is worthwhile.

As for detailing how I do it.... I'm not sure what your looking for here, As for how the USER will handle the bot, at first it will simply be like a "routine" file. It will end up looking something like this.

Node 1 x y z
Node 2 x y z
etc etc

Ability 1 Cooldown
Ability 1 type
Ability 1 etc etc

Loot Rule - Rarity - Cosmic
Loot Rule - Name - BLAH

I havn't worked out all the details on the above yet, but thats the gist.
