Error when logging in?

Just wondering if it is my settings or whether or not anybody else is having the same problem.

I managed to login about 2 hours ago or so, created my player and started the first quest. Upon entering the server (EU - Ring of Fire) I was unable to communicate with the General at the start...I would then disconnect from the server. Login in again and the first waypoint had already been completed and I had no idea what was said.

Now, I am unable to login to GW2 full stop. The game doesn't even load and it gives me some lame excuse about firewall and stuff. I have no firewall enabled and all the ports have been forwarded...any suggestions?

I presume it is down to overloading of the servers though.

There are issues with the login servers, it's not just you.
Keep an eye on https://twitter.com/GuildWars2, they're aware of the problem and they're looking into the problem.

Pretty much everyone on EU has been trying to play for the past 5 hours to no avail. At one time me and 3 friends managed to get past character creation to then have the game black screen and break. GG Arena net, apparently 12 stress tests and 3 beta weekends isn't prepared enough.

Btw I also managed to log in earlier and did 1-2 quests then I had to go out and now I've been trying to log for the past hour and so far all I've managed to do is get a crash + blackscreen :O

At least you got to play some! I managed to get to the inn, didn't once speak to any NPC and get DC'd all the time. Sad times and a bit pathetic really seeing they had so many stress tests. I'm off out now until around 6pm GMT so hopefully it will have sorted itself out by then!

I played the first 7 hours from EU on the US servers with no issues other than the odd spike. People around me and in mumble (One of Kripparians bum boys here) were having issues but mine seemed to be fine. Then the password error happened and obviously the mass influx on the login servers just totally crashed them.

When the login servers are back up, it's going to be Login Wars 2 not Guild Wars 2

The game give me a error about connection,it don't even let me to reach the login screen.
Immediatly after you launch gw2.exe the error appear on the grey window with download in the botton left corner.

Still can't access the server for any longer than 10 seconds. Instantly I see other players walking into walls and then I get Error code 7 appear (Firewall etc)
